Wayfinder Beer is a lager-focused brewpub on SE 2nd Avenue in inner Southeast Portland. The founders installed a dedicated decoction vessel to get malt flavors they could not reach any other way. The beers mix old and new school lager methods with German precision and American swagger.
The Portland pub menu leans on lagers. It has included Party Time, a Bavarian-style pilsner, Secret Secret Czech dark lager, and several rice lagers, some made with fresh Oregon hops. West Coast and hazy IPAs, a cold IPA and an XPA fill out the list.
