Away Days Brewing Co is a European-inspired brewery and taproom in Portland. It opened in 2019, started by former Toffee Club owners and British transplants Niki Diamond and Pete Hoppins. The name comes from English football culture, where an away day is the day you travel to watch your team play in another city.
The beer leans English and European. Its website lists English ales, European-style lagers, rotating cask ales and West Coast IPAs. Cora Pilsner is the flagship, and Home & Away IPA is the flagship West Coast IPA.
The patio is large, with a covered and heated area. Champs Burger is the food cart partner, serving on set days, and independent pop-ups fill in on its off days. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome outside.
Soccer is a big part of the room. The taproom shows all Timbers games, all Thorns away games and weekend morning Premier League matches. A run club also meets every Thursday evening for a 5K.
