Breweries in Washington

Washington is a big brewery state, and most of it lives outside its biggest city. Seattle holds close to a fifth of the breweries. The rest are spread across a long list of towns, led by Spokane, Bellingham, Vancouver and Tacoma.

Most places listed are breweries, and where size is known, the great majority are microbreweries. Brewpubs are the next largest group. Beer stores, cider bars, beer halls and even a sake brewery fill out the list.

Ghostfish Brewing Company in Seattle brews every beer from naturally gluten free grains. No-Li Brewhouse sits on the Spokane River in Spokane, with a Bier Hall and beer garden on the same campus. In Tacoma, 7 Seas Brewery and Taproom fills the restored historic Heidelberg Brewery building.
