Civil Life Brewing Co. is a brewpub in St. Louis's Tower Grove South neighborhood, modeled on traditional old-world-inspired pubs. Jake Hafner, Dylan Mosley and Mike Bianco founded it in 2011. The brewers focus on balanced, moderate ABV beers in traditional English and American styles.
The pub keeps 12 taps ranging from light to full and 2 cask beers, and the website says it carries the Cask Marque award for its cask ale. The brewing team puts out 35 to 40 beers a year. The website says the Rye Pale won Gold at the Great American Beer Fest in 2014.
