Bluewood Brewing is a brewery and kitchen on Cherokee Street in St. Louis, built around what it calls Engineered Artisan Ales. Every beer is hand-crafted and brewed in-house, from lagers to ales, and there is an extensive barrel-aging program. The website says Bluewood believes St. Louis has one of the strongest beer scenes in the world.

Year-round favorites include Arch City Haze IPA and Sparkly Bits Kölsch. Seasonal releases include Awwtoberfest, a Märzen lager. Wine, spirits, cocktails and non-alcoholic options are also on hand.

The in-house kitchen serves shareables, salads and mains, specializing in chicken with many customizable sauces and seasonings. There are vegetarian and vegan options, a Bluewood burger, and specials like a house-smoked Pastrami Reuben and the weekly Steak Sunday.

Bluewood runs two membership levels, Springwood and Heartwood, with member events such as a brew day and a barrel tasting with the head brewer. Private events are booked through a form on the website.
