Breweries in Missouri

Missouri beer runs on two cities. Kansas City and St. Louis each hold about one in seven of the breweries, an even split. Springfield comes a distant third, and the rest are spread over roughly a hundred towns.

Most places listed are breweries. Where size is known, microbreweries lead, but brewpubs are not far behind. A few beer stores and beer gardens fill out the list.

In Kansas City, Boulevard Brewing Tours & Recreation Center is where brewery tours start, with a Beer Hall on the second floor. Kansas City Bier Company pours German styles in its Bierhalle and Biergarten in Waldo. In St. Louis, Urban Chestnut Grove Brewery and Bierhall focuses on lagers at long communal tables.
