Vibrant Shore Brewing Company is a brewery in the ViBe Creative District, a few blocks from the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Leisa and Rhett Rebold opened it in November 2019 to bring together beer, art, community and family. Rhett is the head brewer and earned brewing science certificates from UC Davis and the Siebel Institute.
The list mixes true-to-style beers with seasonal specials and flagships. The Future is a juicy IPA, Rising Bun is a Japanese rice lager and Better Than The Devil is a Vienna lager. All three come in 16-ounce cans sold in 4-packs.
Not drinking? Rhett's Artisan Root Beer is made in house with ginger and wintergreen. Gluten-free options are on hand too.
Rotating food trucks handle the food, and the brewery hosts live music and community events. Local artisans, musicians and vendors get a platform here. The brewery also reclaims brewing heat and sends spent grain to local farmers for feed.
