Thin Brew Line Brewing Company is a Virginia Beach brewery founded by first responders and their family members. The taproom salutes first responders and frontline workers. It sits in the Oceana Crossing Shopping Center.
Several beers raise money for first responder causes. An Garda Síochána, a dry Irish stout, gives part of each pint sold to the Virginia Beach Police Foundation. Kölsch-9 supports the Retired Police Canine Foundation, and the first hefeweizen supports volunteer rescue squad Courthouse Rescue.
The website says the lineup includes Gold Medal-winning beer. The taproom is family friendly, with a heated patio and a dog park. Dogs are welcome inside and out.
A party room holds up to 50 guests, with its own entrance, bar, restrooms and projection screen. Larger groups can rent the whole brewery, including the patio and green space, for up to 200 people.
