About Genesee Brew House
Genesee Brew House is a brewpub in Rochester, set in a century-old building that was once a packaging center for the Genesee Brewery. The building was part of the original brewery campus more than 100 years ago, and the Brew House was established in 2012. Its 9,200 square-foot space holds interactive exhibits, multimedia content, a gift shop, a pilot brewery and a pub-style restaurant.
Genesee dates to 1878 and says it is one of the largest and oldest continually operating breweries in America. Its year-round classics include Genesee Beer, Genesee Light and Genesee Cream Ale. Seasonal and specialty brews include Genesee Oktoberfest and 12 Horse Ale.
The Brew House is dedicated to the people who have brewed these beers for generations. Genesee hopes you will get to know its brewers, learn how the beer is made and find its history in every corner. The Pilot Batch series comes from here, and one favorite, Salted Caramel Chocolate Porter, made it into 4-packs.
