About Rohrbach Brewing Co. Railroad Street Beer Hall

Rohrbach Brewing Co. Railroad Street Beer Hall is Rohrbach's brewery and beer hall in Rochester's Public Market District. It fills a historic mill factory building, with rotating drafts straight from the brewery. Rohrbach was founded in 1991 and calls itself Rochester's first craft brewery.

The kitchen is built around wood-fired fare, including wood-fired pizza, and Google describes a German-American menu. Rohrbach sources locally when it can, from partners such as Amazing Grains, Lively Run cheese and its neighbor, the Rochester Public Market. Specialty cocktails share the list with the beer.

Live music plays every Thursday at 6pm. On alternating Wednesdays the beer hall hosts Pints + Pies Trivia at 6:30 or Name That Tune Bingo at 6pm. Brewery tours run from here too, and Google says they are weekly.

John and Patty Urlaub founded Rohrbach and named it after Rohrbach, a small town in Germany. Brothers Joel and Nathan Will own it today, and the company says it donates roughly 15% of its profits each year.
