About Strangebird Beer
Strangebird Beer is a brewery and restaurant on Marshall Street in Rochester, close to downtown. It hopes to bring folks of all feathers together in a modern, approachable, comfortable and accepting space. Its website says its hand-crafted beers have won awards and its food is made from scratch.
The bar runs 24 rotating taps of house beer, and Strangebird says its beer spans all styles and types. A curated list of wine and cocktails rounds it out. You can also order beer to go.
The kitchen focuses on made-from-scratch, locally sourced and seasonal food, with a menu curated to pair with the beer. Seating is first come, first served, so you seat yourself wherever there is an open spot. Off-site catering is available too.
Two spaces can be booked for groups. The Wood Room is a private room for up to 12 with a window into the kitchen, and the Brew Bar is a semi-private space next to the brewery. Every Monday at 6pm, Strangebird Run Club meets at the brewery for a run and a beer after.

Does Strangebird take reservations?
No. It runs first come, first served, and you seat yourself wherever there is an open seat.
Where do I park?
Strangebird has its own lot. Enter on Marshall Street and exit on Broadway. If it is full, a free public lot at the end of Marshall Street opens after 5PM on weekdays and all day on weekends.
Can I bring my dog?
Only service animals. Licensing, zoning and safety rules mean dogs are not allowed indoors or outside.
