About The Richmond by Mortalis Brewing

The Richmond by Mortalis Brewing is the downtown Rochester taproom of Mortalis Brewing. It sits in the newly restored Richmond building, once home to the iconic Rochester bar known as Richmond's. Mortalis beer pours on draft and comes in cans to go.

There are four places to settle in. An early 1900s-inspired tavern fills the first floor and a lounge bar the second, with an outdoor rooftop patio and an outdoor sunken biergarten. Two cocktail bars mix drinks in-house with fresh ingredients, and the wine list covers natural and traditional bottles.

New Mortalis beer arrives every Wednesday. Flights let you choose 4 or 8 five ounce pours from the rotating drafts.

The full restaurant turns out Neapolitan style pizzas, wings, smash burgers and shareables. Thursday brings karaoke starting at 8pm. Private parties can reserve the space through the website.
