Stockyards Brewing Co is a brewery and brewpub in the West Bottoms of Kansas City. Its website says it opened in 2016 in a historic building in the Stockyards District. Much of the original character survives, from the mahogany-paneled walls to the stained-glass drop ceiling over the bar.
The beer is brewed on site, and the website says you can see the tanks it pours from. If you are not sure what to try first, it suggests a flight. Cider, wine and a long list of spirits are on the menu too.
Non-alcoholic beers from Athletic Brewing and gluten-free beers from Holidaily Brewing are available. Salty bites like pretzels and chips are on hand, and outside food is welcome.
