West Sixth Brewing is a brewery and taproom on West Sixth Street in Lexington. It lives in the Bread Box, a 100 year old building that once housed the Rainbo Bread Factory. This is the company's home brewery, where it brews, cans and bottles its beer.
West Sixth opened in 2012 with its West Sixth IPA. It now cans upwards of 30 beers through the year and releases many bottles. The lineup covers year-round beers, seasonal and IPA rotators, and taproom exclusives.
You order at the bar and seat yourself in the taproom, the Beer Garden, the Barrel Room or at an outdoor table. Food comes from Smithtown Seafood next door, which delivers to your table. Kids are welcome, and dogs can join you in the open-air beer garden and patio.
The brewery runs its Sixth for a Cause Foundation and hosts non-profit happy hours. More people have reviewed West Sixth on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Lexington on this site.
