Payette Brewing Company is a Boise brewery with a tap house and beer garden on South Pioneer Street. The outdoor beer garden covers 11,000 square feet and has a 10-foot fire pit. Payette has been brewing since 2011, with a theme built around raft trips, skiing and campfires.
The open tap house pours 20 or more Payette beers, plus canned cocktails, local cider and wine. Non-alcoholic options include kombucha, craft sodas and NA beer. Cold cases hold beer and cocktails to go.
Outside, you get yard games, shaded picnic tables and a stage for summer music. Food comes from partners and food trucks at the brewery. Kids of all ages and leashed dogs are welcome.
Every Monday night, half of draft sales in the tap room go to local nonprofits through Kegs 4 Kause. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Boise on this site.

Are kids and dogs allowed at Payette?
Yes. Payette welcomes people of all ages and well-behaved dogs on a leash.
Can I reserve a table?
No. Seating is first come, first served. You can tell the brewery ahead of time about a large group, or rent the one private area in the beer garden for a fee.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes. A food partner serves at the brewery, but outside food is allowed. Outside drinks are not.
Is there a happy hour?
Yes. Draft beers are discounted daily in a midday window and again later in the evening.
