About Boise Brewing Taproom

From Boise Brewing's own website and its Google listing, read October 5, 2026.

Boise Brewing Taproom is a brewpub in downtown Boise. The brewery opened its doors in 2014, and its website calls it community owned. It says more than 280 individual owners and businesses helped raise the money to open.

Collin Rudeen first had the idea in 2012, when he signed up for a community garden. He wondered why a fresh pint could not come home with a monthly box of vegetables. He later hired Lance Chavez as head brewer.

The beer list has year-round and seasonal beers, and the website keeps a current tap list. The seasonal page describes stouts, an amber, a red ale and a cherry blonde ale. It says Black Cliffs, an American stout, is rated on BeerAdvocate as one of the top 100 American stouts in the world.

Next door is Broad Street Kitchen. The brewery opened this family-friendly restaurant in 2023, in the old Boise Weekly space. Its website lists burgers, salads and sandwiches.
