Temescal Brewing is a taproom and beer garden on Telegraph Avenue in Oakland, right around the corner from MacArthur BART. Its motto is short: fresh beer and no jerks. Kids and dogs are always welcome.
The beer is brewed in house, and the brewery says it takes a softer, lighter, thoughtful approach to everything it does. Google describes a bright room with an outdoor patio, and popcorn to go with your pint.
Rotating food trucks and pop ups park here every day. On Tuesdays, Mamas Papas serves tacos and quesatacos, with Noche pints on the side. Thursdays bring Pils pint specials and discounted pitchers.
Wednesday is trivia night, with four rounds and a bonus puzzle round. More people have reviewed Temescal on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Oakland on this site.
