Drake's Dealership is the Oakland beer garden and restaurant of Drake's Brewing, which started in San Leandro in 1989. It opened in 2015 inside a former Dodge dealership and repair shop in the historic Auto Row district. Much of it was built from wood and steel reused from the old structure.
There are 32 rotating taps of Drake's beer and select guests. The core lineup includes Denogginizer, a double IPA, along with Best Coast IPA and Aroma Coma. A full bar adds craft cocktails and a new distilling program.
The kitchen is built around wood-fired pizza, seasonal ingredients and shareable plates. Seating spreads across the bar, a large beer garden and a patio. There are also event spaces for gatherings and banquets.
Drake's says its spaces are dog friendly unless an event says otherwise. Dogs stay leashed at your table, and children stay at the table too. More people have reviewed Drake's Dealership on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Oakland on this site.
