About Gathering Place Brewing Company
From Gathering Place Brewing's own website, read October 3, 2026.
Gathering Place Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom on East Vienna Avenue in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood. It opened in 2017 and makes European inspired styles with modern American twists. The bar in the taproom is made from an old basketball court.
The taproom has 12 tap lines, and the selection rotates regularly. Its website describes styles that range from crisp lagers to dank IPAs to smooth stouts. A Small Batch Series keeps the taprooms stocked with new beers.
You can see the brewing equipment from anywhere in the taproom. Tours run each Saturday, according to the website. Grab a board game and order a snack from the food menu.
The brewery says it wants to be a gathering place for friends, family, dogs and co-workers. Tables can be reserved for semi-private events, or you can rent out the whole taproom.
