About Black Husky Brewing
From Black Husky Brewing's own website and its Google listing, read October 1, 2026.
Black Husky Brewing is a brewery and taproom in the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee. It started in 2010 in a log cabin in Pembine, Wisconsin, and moved to Milwaukee in 2016. The taproom now sits in a former auto garage, next to the brewery and a small canning line.
Dogs are the reason for the name. Founders Tim and Toni Eichinger named the brewery after their husky, Howler. Well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome in the taproom today.
The website says there are over 10 mainstays and rotating taps, including ales, stouts and IPAs. The beer menu also lists a Czech Pils, an Elderberry Gose and a pale ale called Dogfather. You can order a flight of four 7 ounce samples.
Beer is not the only option. The website lists cocktails, local spirits, wine and non-alcoholic drinks. Snacks are sold, and you can bring your own food.
