About A Few Old Goats Brewing

A Few Old Goats Brewing is a 2-barrel nano-brewery on the west end of downtown Roanoke. It goes by AFOG. Its website says the Roanoke taproom opened in July of 2018.

Kenny and Joyce and Curtis and Lisa started it after moving from the greater Cleveland area. They met over a shared love of beer and brewing. The website says you can often catch them pouring and brewing.

The Roanoke taproom usually has 10 to 14 taps in service. The website says new recipes and flavors are tested here before they move into larger production at the Buchanan location. Classic styles are always available, along with barrel aged special releases and one-off batches.

The brewers split batches and try new ingredients, but the website says the point is meeting people and laughing with a beer. Google lists a wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot.
