Elkton Brewing Co. / Elkton Brewing Company is a family owned nano brewery on 5th Street in Elkton, in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. It opened in early 2020 in a building from the 1890s that once housed the Elkton Milling Company. More people have reviewed it on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Elkton on this site.
The taproom runs 14 taps that rotate regularly, with several flagship beers always available. Its website says every beer name ties back to a local landmark or legend. There are non-alcoholic drinks too, including kombucha on tap.
The website says the brewing water is trucked in from Bear Lithia Springs, just on the edge of town. It also says Elkton is the only brewery in the country that uses lithia water like this.
Food trucks park on site every weekend, and you are welcome to bring your own food. Live music plays on Friday and Saturday evenings. The porch and patio are family friendly, and pets are welcome outside only.
