About Cave Hill Farms Brewery

Cave Hill Farms Brewery is a brewery on a working family farm in McGaheysville, Virginia. The land came from a 1759 grant from King George II of England and is now in its sixth generation of the same family. The tasting room sits in the old Loafing Shed, where dairy cattle were once held.

It grows its own barley and hops on the farm. It also pulls water from a family well. The tap list has included Rockingham Lager, a pilsner, and King's Grant, a hazy IPA.

Darker and fruited beers show up too. Anvil is a 10% imperial stout finished on bourbon staves, and Blueberry Blonde is a Belgian-style golden ale. The kitchen serves nachos, smoked wings, a smash burger and a pulled pork sandwich.
