White Rock Alehouse & Brewery is a brewpub and restaurant on Gaston Avenue in East Dallas. It sits just off the Santa Fe Trail, a short walk or bike ride from White Rock Lake. The Alehouse has served the Lakewood and East Dallas neighborhoods since 2017.
The core beers cover a German style light lager, a Czech-style pilsner, a blonde ale, an American IPA and a New England IPA. Seasonals rotate through, like the Märzen called White Rocktoberfest. The website lists medals from the Great American Beer Festival, the World Beer Cup and the Texas Craft Brewers Cup.
Inside there is a dining room and bar, with a large covered patio and an open air beer garden outside. The kitchen serves a full menu, and you can order online. There is a weekday happy hour too.
Live bands play the beer garden every Friday evening, and pub trivia runs every Tuesday night. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Dallas on this site.
