Vector Brewing + Pizza + Coffee is a brewpub in the Lake Highlands neighborhood of Dallas. All of its beer is brewed on site, on a custom seven-barrel brewhouse tucked right behind the bar. It isn't part of a chain, and its owners say this is the only Vector Brewing.
The lineup runs from lagers, pilsners and IPAs to stouts and barrel-aged barleywines. Vector keeps two barrel-aging rooms, one set aside just for mixed fermentation and oak-aged beer. Head brewer Tomas Gutierrez, known around the taproom as Tortuga, specializes in blending those barrel-aged and mixed culture beers.
The kitchen makes its pizza dough and sauce from scratch daily, and the pies bake in a stone deck oven at over 650 degrees. Vector also serves coffee and breakfast in the morning, plus wine, cider, mead and non-alcoholic drinks. Most of its beer is available to go in cans and bottles, though it does not fill growlers.
Outdoor seating includes a biergarten and a dog friendly patio, though dogs cannot come inside under Dallas health code. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Dallas on this site.
