About Golden Age Beer Company
Golden Age Beer Company is a lager brewery and beer garden on East 8th Avenue in Homestead. The brewery focuses on clean, crisp lagers that are easy to drink. The founders also run the Pittsburgh beer bars Independent Brewing Company and Lorelei.
The beer is brewed on a 15 barrel BrauKon system, which is Bavarian-made. Its styles include Northern German and Italian-style pilsners, dunkels, rauchbiers and American lager.
A full kitchen serves wood fired pizza, smash burgers, wings and sandwiches with a German influence. The beer garden is open year round, weather permitting, and has live entertainment on an outdoor stage in the warmer months. Trivia runs every Wednesday.
Kids are welcome, and dogs are welcome outdoors. Street parking is available, and a municipal lot sits directly behind the beer garden.
