About Trace Brewing
From Trace Brewing's own website and its Google listing, read October 4, 2026.
Trace Brewing is a brewery and coffee shop on Main Street in Pittsburgh's Bloomfield neighborhood. It runs a six-month, paid vocational program for people who want to start a career in professional brewing. Its head brewer is a graduate of that program.
The year-round house beer is Kellerbier, a 5.2% unfiltered German pale lager brewed with Spalter Select and Tettnanger hops. It is served through a side-pull faucet in a stein. The taproom also pours cocktails, cider, wine and non-alcoholic beers.
The brewery says it has a food truck at Trace every night of the week. You can also bring your own food.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the indoor taproom and the outdoor beer garden. Groups can book private spaces for parties and meetings. Crowlers are available for carryout.
