Threshold Brewing & Blending is a brewery and taproom on SE 79th Avenue in Portland. Its website says founder and brewer Jarek was born and raised in Poland. He and co-owner Sara share a passion for bringing Polish food and beer styles to Portland.

That shows up on the menu every day. The kitchen makes zapiekanka, a Polish open-faced baguette with spiced mushrooms and cheese, toasted and finished with house-made Zappy sauce. There is a bar snack menu too, and a Polish kitchen pop-up with pierogi and kielbasa on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The taproom is spacious, and there is covered patio seating outside. Kids and dogs are welcome. Live music, from bluegrass to jazz, plays every Saturday and Sunday, and trivia runs on Wednesdays.

The taplist leans on seasonal fresh hop beers, with lagers, IPAs, sours and a rotating local cider. Most draft beers are available to go in 16oz 4-packs and cans. Wine and a wide range of non-alcoholic drinks are on offer as well.
