About Leikam Brewing

From Leikam Brewing's own website, read September 30, 2026.

Leikam Brewing is a 5-barrel brewery and taproom on East Burnside Street in Portland. Its website calls it a community-centered kosher brewery that is woman owned and family run. The site says its beers hold kosher approval from Oregon Kosher.

Leikam started in 2014 in the backyard of a Southeast Portland home. Production moved to the Burnside taproom in late 2021. The brewers say they work in small batches, with some regular beers and some spontaneous ones.

The tap list rotates often and runs from lagers to IPAs to stouts. The taproom also makes cocktails, and the website says a full bar is available. The site says all the beers are vegan, and that gluten is reduced during brewing.

The room is made for staying a while. Guests can sit on the patio or play board games, and a brewery cat named Puck is the resident greeter. Monthly events include a silent book club and a klezmer night.
