Great Notion Brewing - Alberta is a brewpub on NE Alberta Street in Portland. It is one of three Great Notion taprooms in the Portland area, and Matt's BBQ Tacos handles the food. On weekends the taco counter opens an hour before the taps.
Great Notion's slogan is Keep Beer Fun, and the beer list shows it. Names on the shelf include Ripe and Over Ripe, plus dessert-style beers like Blueberry Muffin, Key Lime Pie and Double Stack. The brewery also makes hop waters and sodas, which ship nationwide.
