About Waterline Brewing Co.
Waterline Brewing Co. brews in the renovated 1940s Jacobi Hardware Warehouse on Surry Street in Wilmington. It sits just underneath the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, hence the motto Brewed Under The Bridge. There is a taproom, an outdoor beer garden and plenty of parking.
Beer comes off a steam-fired 20 barrel system. Flagships include Waterline Kolsch, Neil's IPA, Hefeweizen, Red IPA, Coffee & Cream and Oatmeal Stout. Rotating IPAs, goses and seasonals like the Holiday Chai Gruit and Irish Red fill out the board.
Waterline is dog friendly. Wine, canned ciders, seltzers, liquor drinks and non-alcoholic options are on hand for anyone skipping beer. Growlers and 32oz crowlers take beer home.
The calendar runs from live music on an outdoor stage to trivia, comedy, vinyl nights, markets and goat yoga. Big annual parties include Oktoberfest, the Cape Fear Hooley Under the Bridge and a Mardi Gras party with a second line march.
