About Hi-Wire Brewing - Wilmington
Hi-Wire Brewing - Wilmington is a bright, game-heavy taproom in Wilmington's Soda Pop District. The 7920 sq. ft. building started out as a car dealership. Most recently it was home to Carolina Carburetor Specialists, from 1983.
Twenty taps pour Hi-Wire beer, from flagships and seasonals to specialties and sour and wild ales. Draft cocktails, liquor slushies, wine and cider are on the list too. Non-alcoholic options include N/A beer, mocktails and Hi-Jinks THC-Infused Sparkling Water.
Games fill the room, with ping pong, foosball, shuffleboard, arcade games and pinball. Murals cover the walls in every direction. Outside, two beer gardens offer covered seating.
The taproom is pet friendly and family friendly. For food, order pizza from the neighbors at Cugino Forno, pick it up next door and bring it back. Hi-Wire got its start in Asheville in 2013 and now runs taprooms across North Carolina and in Knoxville.
