About The Scapegoat Taproom
The Scapegoat Taproom is a beer hall on Compass Pointe South Wynd in Leland, North Carolina. It is run by Chris and Jody, a family of four who were born and raised in the Leland area. Their website says the taproom started as an idea imagined 30 years ago.
It began as a sports bar concept. The name pays homage to famous scapegoats in sports history. As the family changed, the plan became a community space for all scapegoats, past and present.
The website says the focus is family and connection. It talks about fellowship, music and conversation as well as drinks. Its weekly schedule has listed live music, karaoke and NFL football days.
Food trucks visit, and the schedule names them by day. A pop shop sells 4 packs and 6 packs to go. Google lists a wheelchair accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating.
