About Three Heads Brewing
Three Heads Brewing runs its brewery and Beer Garden on Atlantic Avenue in Rochester. It moved into this state-of-the-art brewery in 2016, in what the website calls Rochester's neighborhood of the arts. The pitch is simple: beer does not come any fresher than straight from the source.
The story started in a Brighton neighborhood in the early 2000s, with friends sharing beers and homebrewing in Todd Dirrigl's basement. Their homebrews won medals, then a Best of Show over 420 entries at the Amber Waves of Grain competition in Buffalo. Three Heads incorporated in 2010 and brewed with CB Craft Brewers in Honeoye Falls before opening here.
The Kind family runs from The Kind India Pale Ale to Too Kind Double India Pale Ale and Tiny Kind Session IPA. 585 Hazy IPA and Common Man Light Lager are on the list too, and seasonal beers rotate in.
Only snacks are served, but outside food is welcome and food trucks rotate through. There is weekly live music. The website says the patio rivals any other in the city.
