Schussboom Brewing Co. is a brewpub on South Virginia Street in south Reno that brews small batch beer and runs a full kitchen. It has communal tables inside and a heated rooftop deck. Weekend mornings start early with breakfast.
The beer list rotates. Its Beer Library shows how wide the range goes, from Banana Hammock hefeweizen and Backcountry Porter to Alley-oop IPA. The website says Bear Bait, a honey and raspberry wheat ale, won a GABF silver medal in 2022.
The kitchen makes artisan pizzas and wings fresh to order, plus salads, wraps and sandwiches. There is a kids menu and a bake shop too.
The bar mixes margaritas, mules and a house Bloody Mary, and pours wine by the glass or carafe. You can order online for pickup.
