Nevada beer comes down to two metros. Las Vegas holds more than a third of the breweries and Reno more than a quarter. Add Sparks, and nearly three quarters of them sit in those three cities.
Henderson and Carson City come next, with a handful of stops in towns like Minden, Elko and Tonopah. Almost every place listed is a brewery. Where size is known, brewpubs slightly outnumber microbreweries.
Able Baker Brewing in the Las Vegas Arts District takes its name from the first two atomic bomb tests at the Nevada Test Site. Chicago Brewing Company in Las Vegas never closes and serves breakfast around the clock. In Reno, Schussboom Brewing Co. has a heated rooftop deck.

Planning a brewery trip in Nevada
Las Vegas makes the easiest base, since more breweries cluster there than anywhere else in the state. Henderson is an easy add, and Lovelady Brewing Company and CraftHaus Brewery sit side by side on Eastgate Road.
Reno is the other strong base, and Sparks adds a group of its own. Outside those cities the stops are few, so plan each one before you drive.
