About Pigeon Head Brewery

From Pigeon Head Brewery's own website and its Google listing, read October 4, 2026.

Pigeon Head Brewery is a lager-focused brewery and taproom on East 5th Street in Reno. Its website says it was founded in May of 2014 to brew traditional German style lagers. Google also lists it as a brewpub, beer hall and beer store.

The year round lineup starts with a Pilsner, a Black Lager and a Red Rye Lager. It also includes Kokanee Kolsch, Fly By Night IPA, Swing Shift IPA and Silver Sage Pale Ale, which is brewed with fresh sage leaves. Seasonal beers rotate through during the year.

The taproom has indoor seating with views of the brew house, plus a patio when the weather allows. Its website describes wooden tables and benches, local art on the walls and at least a dozen beers on tap. Guest hard ciders are there too.

You can take beer home in cans, growlers or crowlers. Groups can rent the taproom or the patio for a private event and bring their own catering. Trivia night is on the events calendar.
