SARO Cider's Lincoln Taproom is in the Telegraph District, and it is the headquarters where Saro's cider is crafted. The taproom was established in 2018. The website describes a modern but elegant room, welcoming for all ages.
Saro makes its cider traditional, with no added sugar. Founding cider maker Matt began making cider in 2011, shortly after a celiac diagnosis, and everything at the taproom is gluten-free. The name rhymes with arrow and comes from a British passenger plane that the cidery says was the first to land on water.
The menu has sharable plates, draft ciders, mocktails and cocktails. A gluten-free brunch runs every second Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM. Trivia starts at 7 PM on Wednesdays, and acoustic music plays Fridays from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
Saro hosts parties big and small, from weddings to graduations and birthdays. Co-owners Tracy Sanford and Matt Wood run the cidery, and Chris Ganshert is head cider maker.
