About Great Heart Brewing Co
Great Heart Brewing Co is a brewery and beerhall in Olivette, Missouri, with a full kitchen. It brews small-batch European-style ales and lagers on site. The hops, barley and wheat come from Bavaria, Bohemia and the Pacific Northwest.
The beer list leans German, Swiss and Czech. Heli's Helles, House Pilsner, Weissbier, Dunkel and Swiss Lager are all on the roster. The Weissbier is a Bavarian-style wheat beer with banana and clove notes.
The food is what the kitchen calls Alpine-fusion. Dishes are German, Swiss and northern Italian, made with meats and produce from local farms. The kitchen never uses seed oils, and the breads are made with a 75-year-old sourdough starter from Padua, Italy.
Weekend brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday, and there is a kids menu. An upstairs loft can be booked for private events. The entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating are all wheelchair accessible.
