About North 20 Brewing
North 20 Brewing is a family-founded brewery and taproom in Rosemount. Its website says it began when the Schmitz family gave David Schmitz a homebrew kit during the 2015 holiday season. He and his sons, Christian and Jordan, took to the hobby fast.
The name comes from a grandparent of the family, who called the property the North 20. The site says grandpa liked to drive up the dirt road on a John Deere to mow it.
The website's tap list runs from a chocolate milk stout and a hazy IPA to a Mexican lager, a kolsch and a guava kettle sour. There is also a house hard seltzer and wine from local vineyards. Kids are welcome in the taproom, and well behaved dogs are welcome on the patio.
The food page lists snacks and sandwiches, including brats and a pulled pork sandwich from Von Hanson's in Rosemount. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Rosemount on this site.
