About Idle Hands Craft Ales
Idle Hands Craft Ales is a Belgian-inspired brewery with a taproom in Malden. Christopher and Grace Tkach founded it in 2010. The brewery says it began as the smallest commercial brewery in Massachusetts, brewing 1.5 barrels at a time.
The core lineup includes Blueberry Ale, Four Seam New England IPA, Brewer's Select Pils and Farmhouse Pale Ale. The draft list has also included a Belgian table beer called Origin and a Fest lager. House made seltzer and non-alcoholic options are on the menu too.
The Idle Hands Kitchen serves pretzels and grilled cheese daily. Food trucks are onsite most Friday and Saturday nights, and you are welcome to bring your own food. Leashed dogs are allowed on the patio only.
The calendar includes game nights, trivia nights and yoga in the taproom. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Malden on this site.
