About Goodfire Brewing Company
Goodfire Brewing Company's Portland taproom on Anderson Street is the original Goodfire, where the beer is brewed and packaged. Goodfire is small, family-owned and Maine-based. It began in 2017 as Dr. David Redding's home brewing project.
Head Brewer Katie Miller and assistant brewer Patrick Lockwood lead the brewing now. Their focus is soft, unfiltered New England IPAs, with German-style lagers on the side. The website says they also brew everything from English porters to fruited sours.
Prime, a Citra IPA with Amarillo and Columbus hops, is the flagship. Super Prime is its double IPA sibling, and Watt is a pale ale made with Maine-malted grain. Cuppa English Mild, Lutro Gose-Style Sour and Atmosphere Schwarzbier have also come in 4-packs.
This room serves beer, wine and light packaged bar snacks only, with no kitchen. Dogs are allowed outside on the patio. Google lists wheelchair accessible seating.
