Big Grove - Prairie Village is a brewery taproom and restaurant on Mission Rd in Prairie Village, Kansas. It is the Kansas City area taproom of Big Grove, a brewery that opened in Solon, Iowa, in 2013. Game days are the big draw, with more than 30 TVs inside and out on the patio.
Game audio plays throughout the taproom, so you hear every big play. The taproom shows Kansas Jayhawks, Kansas State Wildcats, Missouri Tigers and Kansas City Chiefs games, along with Iowa football. The brewery says it is the official craft brewery of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
A beer menu and a food menu are both on offer, and you can order online. Seating is first-come, first-served, with no reservations or call-ahead lists. Groups of 10 or more may be split or seated in stages at busy times.
The taproom has indoor and patio event spaces for private parties. The entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating are all wheelchair accessible.
