Marz Community Brewing Company is a brewery in the Central Manufacturing District of McKinley Park in Chicago. Google describes it as a hip warehouse setting for small-batch local beer. Its website says the brewery began as a dream in 2013 and started selling beer in the summer of 2014.
Marz brews on a 15-barrel brewhouse with a foeder and its own canning line. Its early years produced the flagship wheat ale, Jungle Boogie. The brewery also makes kombucha, yerba, shrub sodas and house-made seltzers.
The taproom has a beer garden, and kids are welcome with an adult over 21. Google mentions snacks, sandwiches, coffee and tea. Events run through the week, including music bingo on Mondays and trivia on Wednesdays.
