Half Acre Beer Co is a regional brewery in Chicago. Its website calls it one of Chicago's pioneering breweries and says it was founded in 2007. The Balmoral production brewery has been home since 2013, and it holds the taproom, beer garden and shop.

Half Acre first brewed Daisy Cutter Pale Ale in 2009, and it is still on the year round list. That list also has Half Acre Light, Bodem IPA, Pony Pilsner, WayBird Hazy IPA and Slow Melt Pale Ale. Seasonal, limited and barrel aged beers rotate through too.

There is a food menu, and the kitchen stops an hour before close. Kids are welcome with a 21+ adult, and the beer garden is dog-friendly. The events page lists trivia as well.
