Burning Bush Brewery is a family-owned microbrewery in Chicago's North Center. Its website tells the story of founder Brent, who started home brewing while working as a church pastor. The grand opening came in March 2020.
Twelve rotating taps pour house beer that the brewery says is brewed to be enjoyed fresh. The menu lists classic lagers, IPAs and stouts next to fruited kettle sours, a spruce tip IPA and a basil infused amber. There are also guest ciders, seltzers, wine on tap and non-alcoholic beers.
The taproom is dog- and family-friendly. There is a community room too, and a patio along the river. You can order pizza and snacks or bring your own food, and food trucks stop by at times.
The calendar has trivia on Wednesdays and game night on Thursdays. Live music and monthly beer releases show up on the events page as well.
