Angry Chair Brewing is a brewery and taproom on North Florida Avenue in Tampa. It is best known for stouts, and the website says there is no line it won't cross with that style. The name is about the thing in your life that drives you mad, and the joy of getting away from it.
The beer archive is heavy on imperial sweet stouts, from Fudge Bucket to German Chocolate Cupcake. The tap list also carries IPAs, sours, Berliner weisses and porters. The website notes a gold medal for its pilsner, proof it can follow the rules when it wants to.
The taproom keeps things simple. There are TVs, plenty of seating, four bathrooms and a kitchen serving food. Because of that kitchen, the patio is now dog friendly.
A private event room holds up to 45 people, with two large TVs and your own music. The full catering menu is available for it.
