Hopnonymous Brewing Company brews on Convoy Court in San Diego's Kearny Mesa neighborhood. It started as a specialty beer distributor and contract brewer, building a roster of restaurant clients, before founder Remy Zurita opened this taproom in 2018. Hopnonymous also runs a second location in San Diego's Normal Heights neighborhood, on Adams Avenue.
The taps rotate often, from pilsners and lagers to West Coast IPAs, stouts and fruited sours. Recent pours have included Ripplin' Pils, a West Coast pilsner, and Sun's Out Mum's Out, a Mexican amber lager. You can take beer home too, since crowlers are available to go.
Food trucks rotate daily at both Hopnonymous locations, so there is always something to eat with the beer. Kids and dogs are welcome inside the taproom, and there is a covered outdoor area too. Its website describes the space as family friendly.
