ISM Brewing & Kitchen is a brewpub on the Promenade in Downtown Long Beach. Its website says Ian McCall opened it in December 2023 and describes him as formerly of Riip Beer Co. and Beachwood Brewing. Chef Robert "Bobby" Gill leads a scratch-made pub kitchen.
West Coast beers lead the drink menu. Chepedelic is a West Coast IPA, and the menu lists a 2025 GABF gold medal for it. Coastal Curves is a hoppy West Coast pilsner.
The food has a playful streak. Curd Is the Word brings fried cheese curds, Venus in Fries loads za'atar fries with feta, and Romaine Calm is the Caesar. There is a kids menu too.
Indoor and outdoor seating is available, and the brewpub takes reservations. Trivia nights with Epic Pub Quiz and live music fill the calendar. Wine, cider and cocktails round out the bar.
