Beachwood Brewing & Distilling is Beachwood's Bixby Knolls home, where the company added a distillery in 2024. It pairs a full-service kitchen with Beachwood beer and house cocktails. The distillery follows a grain-to-glass approach and makes gin, vodka and rum.

Beachwood started in 2006 as a restaurant and beer bar in Seal Beach, created by Chef Gabriel Gordon and his wife Lena Perelman. Its brewery opened in Downtown Long Beach in 2011, and Beachwood Blendery followed in 2015 with Lambic-inspired sour beers.

West Coast IPAs are the house signature. The website says Beachwood was among the first Los Angeles-area breweries to brew the style regularly.

Fridays bring live music to the Bixby Knolls location, and Tuesdays bring trivia. Beachwood also runs an app with rewards and perks.
